Maintenance

Propulsion & Machinery Maintenance

We keep propulsion reliable and predictable. Our program covers main engines, gearboxes, shaftline, and all auxiliaries—implemented and administered under OEM, ABYC/NFPA, and class best practices, with traceability in a CMMS.

Engines & Gearboxes

  • Scheduled services by hours/calendar (oil, filters, valves, belts, zincs).
  • Oil analysis (SOAP), crankcase pressure, boost & backpressure checks.
  • Cooling: raw/closed circuit, heat exchangers, aftercoolers, impellers.
  • Fuel: polishing, tank inspections, biocide strategy, Racor ΔP trending.

Power Generation

  • Gensets: load-banking, AVR checks, frequency/voltage stability, exhaust/cooling service.
  • Inverter/charger integration and changeover tests.

Auxiliary Systems

  • Hydraulics: steering, windlass, thrusters, stabilizers—filters, leaks, pressures.
  • HVAC/chilled water, watermakers, potable and black/grey systems.
  • Fire/bilge pumps and emergency starts.

Maintenance Plans (Implementation & Administration)

  1. Baseline survey and criticality ranking (RCM-lite).
  2. CMMS setup: tasks, intervals, checklists, spares, and vendor matrix.
  3. Execution with SOPs, torque specs, and photo evidence.
  4. KPI reporting: uptime, MTBF/MTTR, fuel per hour, defect backlog, cost per hour.

Diagnostics & QA

  • Sea trial validation: temps/pressures, WOT, vibration envelope, alarms.
  • Compliance notes and as-maintained records.

Result: smoother-running machinery, fewer surprises, and documented readiness for every departure.
